Has the Day of Reckoning arrived?
Apparently so. The Chinese stock market shed 8.5% today, the US Dollar is down .8 to over 94 and the DJI is flirting with 16,000. Forget the FED tightening in September.
Those of you who thought to steal the march on Larry's recs (Chinese and US stocks and the US Dollar) are now hurting. Will the FED or the Plunge Protection team act to reverse the crash? I doubt they can even if they wanted to.
I am adding this at 9:51 ET. The DJI is down over 1,000 points and the US Dollar is at 92.

The handling of the Ukrainian conflict, and the second-rate attempt to antagonize Vladimir Putin and paint him as an aggressor has failed, if the terse opinion of one of America’s oldest diplomats is any indication.
Henry Kissinger, now 92 years old, remains one of the staunchest insiders in the smoky room, always a move ahead in the game for New World Order dominance.
During the Nixon administration, it was Secretary of State Henry Kissinger who “opened up” Communist China to American diplomacy.
With escalating tensions between the U.S. and Russia, Kissinger blasted the American handling of the Ukraine situation for “backing Kiev at any cost” and basically antagonizing Putin without keeping focus of “long term order” and instead acting recklessly for short-term interests. Make no mistake, Kissinger – a top envoy for such shadowy globalist organizations as Bilderberg and an advocate of real politik – plays the long game. Long term world order is part of his calculus. Ultimately, Kissinger now suggests, Ukraine will remain a buffer or middle ground between U.S. interests in Europe (via NATO) and the traditional Russian sphere of influence. Deceptive temperature record claims
Warmest month announcements have no scientific basis
NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) announced this week that according to their calculations, July 2015 was the hottest month since instrumental records began in 1880. NOAA says that the record was set by eight one-hundredths of a degree Celsius over that set in July 1998. NASA calculates that July 2015 beat what they assert was the previous warmest month (July 2011) by two one-hundredths of a degree.
But government spokespeople rarely mention the inconvenient fact that these records are being set by less than the uncertainty in the statistics. NOAA claims an uncertainty of 14 one-hundredths of a degree in its temperature averages, or near twice the amount by which they say the record was set. NASA says that their data is typically accurate to one tenth of a degree, five times the amount by which their new record was set.
So, the new temperature records are meaningless. Neither agency knows whether a record was set.
Such misrepresentations are now commonplace in NOAA and NASA announcements. They are regularly proclaiming monthly and yearly records set by less than the uncertainties in the measurements. Scientists within the agencies know that this is dishonest.
They also know that calculating so-called global average temperatures to hundredths of a degree is irrational. After all, there is very little data for the 70 percent of Earth's surface that is ocean. There is also little data for mountainous and desert regions, not to mention the Antarctic. Much of the coverage is so sparse that NASA is forced to make the ridiculous claim that regions are adequately covered if there is a temperature-sensing station within nearly 750 miles. This is the distance between Ottawa, Canada, and Myrtle Beach, S.C. cities with very different climates. Yet, according to NASA, only one temperature sensing station is necessary for the two cities and the vast area between them to be adequately represented in their network.
In the final analysis, it is no more meaningful to calculate an average temperature for a whole planet than it is to calculate the average telephone number in the Washington D.C. phone book. Temperature, like viscosity and density, and of course phone numbers, is not something that can be meaningfully averaged. "Global temperature" does not exist.

In their award winning book, "Taken By Storm" (2007), Canadian researchers Christopher Essex and Ross McKitrick explain: "Temperature is not an amount of something [like height or weight]. It is a number that represents the condition of a physical system. In thermodynamics it is known as an intensive quantity, in contrast to quantities like energy, which have an additive property, which we call extensive in thermodynamics."
Even if enough accurate surface temperature measurements existed to ensure reasonable planetary coverage (it doesn't) and to calculate some sort of global temperature statistic, interpreting its significance would be challenging. What averaging rule would you use to handle the data from thousands of temperature-sensing stations? Mean, mode, median, root mean square? Science does not tell us. For some groups of close temperature measures (and NASA and NOAA are dealing with thousands of very close temperatures), one method of calculating an average can lead to a determination of warming while another can lead to a conclusion of cooling.
Even if you could calculate some sort of meaningful global temperature statistic, the figure would be unimportant. No one and nothing would experience it directly since we all live in regions, not the globe. There is no super-sized being straddling the planet, feeling global averages in temperature. Global warming does not matter.
Future generations are bound to ask why America closed its coal-fueled generating stations, its cheapest, most plentiful source of electric power, and wasted billions of dollars trying to stop insignificant changes in imaginary phenomena.
The sad answer will be that it had nothing to do with the realities of science, technology or economics. The tragic blunder is based on satisfying political expedience for a privileged few, egged on by vested financial interests, and supported by largely uninformed activists granted the media platforms needed to sway public opinion. As Jay Lehr, science director of the Chicago-based Heartland Institute said, "It is a scam that dwarfs all others that have come before."

Who is a US citizen?
The concept of who is to become a US citizen is enumerated in Article 1 Section 8 Clause four of the Constitution. Under this Article the Legislative Branch is given the authority "To establish an uniform Rule on Naturalization... (Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4). NOTE! It is NOT the President, NOT City Councils and NOT even the Courts. It is Congress.
The Fourteenth Amendment is cited as the authority to establish the concept of "anchor babies." here is the relevant text: "Section. 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. "
The text is clear and is made explicit by the use of conditions which are enumerated: [Condition 1 born in the United States; or Condition 2. naturalized in the United States] AND subject to the jurisdiction thereof [of the United States]. Anchor babies (babies born to those in the US on a valid visa or babies born to illegal aliens) are not citizens.
Congress must enforce these provisions of the Constitution and not allow either the President or the Courts to subvert them.
Unfortunately, the President is trying to illegally naturalize anchor babies hoping they will save his political party while the US Chamber of Congress is supporting this illegal act of the President to keep wages low.

Taking the pulse of the news.
Greece
Greece accepted steep increases in taxes and cuts in government services as a price for its latest bailout. End of the story? No!. One quarter of the Syriza Party broke away, PM Tsipras resigned and called for new elections. The country's President called on the opposition to form a government. So far no luck. As you can expect, Greek stocks are tanking.
China
Chinese stocks are also tanking in spite of efforts by the Chinese govt to stop the plunge. To add insult to injury, the IMF had postponed trying to put together a basket of new reserve currency including the Yuan till next year.
The FED.
There are voices being raised for postponing raising interest rates in view of the DOW's 1,500 point plunge and the soft economy.
Puerto Rico.
Trying to restructure its debts.
Chicago.
Ditto.
Gold.
Definitely rallying.
Biden candidacy.
Under way.
Shemitah and Larry's cycles.
The first predicts calamities at the end of September, while Larry predicts calamities on October 7.

Hillary's legal trouble.
The law says that an Agency head must preserve all the communications during his/her tenure. Failure to do so is punishable by a fine and 3 years in prison. If convicted, the former official is disqualified from ANY federal office.
So, if the FBI finds that Hillary deleted (i.e. failed to preserve) one, single official document, she will not be eligible to run for President.
Bill Clinton played golf with Obama and Bill had a very grim face. I believe that Obama told Bill what Hillary faces.

There is only one person who controls Hillary Clinton’s fate, and it isn’t Hillary Clinton.
Mrs. Clinton is careening toward possible criminal charges involving her alleged mishandling of classified material on her personal email server while she was secretary of State. And President Obama is driving the bus.
She and her team have, of course, reverted to form, blaming everyone but themselves: a “right-wing conspiracy,” The New York Times, overzealous investigators. What they are missing, however, is the one figure who wants her taken out politically, and who has the power to do it.
Mr. Obama have a long history as frenemies. Recall Mr. Obama’s rejoinder at a 2008 debate, when Mrs. Clinton touted her likability: “You’re likable enough.” Or recall President Bill Clinton’s famous put-down of Mr. Obama: “A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.”
Beyond the bad blood, however, Mr. Obama has a more important reason for doing her in. As I have written previously, he needs a successor he can control. Over the years, including recently, he has waxed rhapsodic over a possible third term to continue his “fundamental transformation of the nation.” Mrs. Clinton will not provide it; therefore, she must be sidelined.
If Mr. Obama does not want an investigation to go forward, it does not go forward. Witness the scandals involving the Internal Revenue Service, Benghazi, Veterans Administration and Operation Fast and Furious gunrunning. In each case, Mr. Obama claimed he learned about the scandal “from the news.” (That’s interesting coming from a guy who claims he only rarely watches or reads said “news.”)
He then expressed his “outrage” and vowed to “get to the bottom” of each scandal. (Of course, it’s tough to “get to the bottom” of something when you are the bottom of it.)
In those cases, he protesteth too much. His faux outrage was a “tell” that he had no intention of investigating. In Mrs. Clinton’s case, he’s been quiet. Too quiet. That’s a “tell” that he wants this investigation pursued, likely to the point of charging her.
He has others talking, however. Each week, there are damaging new leaks about her personal email and server: that despite her denials, she did, in fact, have top-secret and other highly classified materials on the server, that the FBI is conducting a criminal probe and the bureau is “optimistic” it can retrieve the wiped data, that she may have had a second server, that her top aides — Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and Jake Sullivan — are now also in investigators’ sights.
Mr. Obama is a clever dark knight: he’s not just going after the queen. He’s going after her court, too.
These leaks are not happening by accident.
Gen. David Petraeus, who was prosecuted for mishandling classified material in much more innocuous ways, claimed to a source of mine that Mrs. Clinton faces a “very tough legal environment.” Particularly, if Mr. Obama used the Petraeus prosecution to set the precedent to prosecute Mrs. Clinton: “I’m so sorry about this, but my hands are tied. The law is the law.” (It would be the first time in his presidency that the “law is the law,” but that’s another matter.)
It may be that Mr. Obama set her up from the start, giving her the green light to use a private server. The White House refuses to say whether she got prior approval, suggesting that they probably granted it. After all, a number of top administration folks had private accounts: Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, among others. But they didn’t use private email exclusively for government business the way Mrs. Clinton did, nor did they expose classified material. They also weren’t likely presidential candidates. It could be that Mr. Obama gave her the OK knowing that he could use it against her at the opportune moment. Which would be now.
This brings us to the certain presidential candidacy of Vice President Joe Biden, the one person who can effectively give Mr. Obama that third term. Indications are that he is seriously contemplating it, making initial plans, reaching out to potential donors, and benefiting from the Obamaites whipping up Biden buzz. The White House is even floating the idea of one-term for Mr. Biden, to reassure voters that they wouldn’t be making a long-term commitment (even though, as an extension of Obama’s presidency, it would be.)
Like the Clinton investigation, this is not by accident.
Once Mr. Biden joins the race, he will enjoy the full backing of Mr. Obama. With Mrs. Clinton gone, however, Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden will have to make it up to Democratic women and the radical left, which is currently flirting with socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders.
There is only one person who kills both birds with one stone: Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
The Democratic ticket will be Joe Biden-Elizabeth Warren. That’s what Mr. Obama wants. And what Mr. Obama wants, Mr. Obama gets.
This is “Game of Thrones.” And Mr. Obama is winning.
