A new wrinkle in l'affair Trump Jr.

The Media is abuzz with a claim by a Russian named Rinat Akhmetshin that during the meeting with Natasha documents were indeed passed. Supposedly, the documents contained information about illicit Russian contributions to the DNC.

What is the story? The Media thunders that Trump Jr lied when he said that he did not see evidence of dirty money flowing to the Hillary campaign.

Questions not asked: 1. Was Russian money flowing to the DNC?
                                   2. Why was the Obama regime tolerating Russian activity?

The next flashpoint:Syria.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered a clear signal of Israel’s disquiet about the cease-fire just after it was announced. His office released a public statement laying out Israel’s “red lines” in Syria. Any deals, he said in remarks to his Cabinet: 1) Have to keep Iran and Hezbollah away from Israel’s Golan border; 2) Must prevent “the establishment of an Iranian military presence in Syria as a whole”; 3) Must block any attempt by Hezbollah to acquire “precision weapons.” This statement has raised the stakes for Jerusalem, as Israeli leaders do not usually speak about red lines.

 

There are two budding developments that worry the Israelis. One, the development of a land bridge organized by Iran that goes through Syria and threatens Israel. Two, the building of underground rocket factories for Hezbollah by Iran in Lebanon.

 

The impending fall of Mosul and Raqqa potentially opens the way for Iran  to have a land bridge that sets up a confrontation between Iran and Israel. To keep the land bridge from becoming a reality requires cooperation between Russia and the US; a development that is opposed by Democrats and the Media. The Democrats regard Israel as no longer a friend (I. e.; not a Socialist outpost) which was at the root of Obama's anti-Israel stance. Nothing in the Middle East is easy and simple.

The Spy Game of 2016-2017.

Folks, no writer could come up with a better story than the spy games played around the Trump election. I shall recount them:

1. Donald Trump was offered a lucrative business deal in Russia, but he turned it down.

2. A phony dossier was constructed by an intelligence company and leaked to spy agencies that in turn leaked it to McCain. McCain then turned it over to the FBI. So, the anti-Trumpers are relying on a dossier that is fake. The details of this have been published in the Daily Mail:

3. There was collusion between the Hillary camp and the Ukraine and Sean Hannity had described this on his website. This may have been criminal. activity involved. The Media is not interested.

4. The ploy by Natalya Vaselnitskaya. This was a honey trap probably orchestrated by Obama. Ms Vaselnitskaya was allowed into the Country without a visa to assist a Russian businessman. Her stay was extended then later renewed. She and an intermediary wrote an email to Donald Trump Jr that they had some dirt on Hillary and that Russia was in Trump's corner. Donald Jr showed up with a couple of witnesses. The meeting took 20 minutes and was a lobbying effort to replace a law. No dirt on Hillary was delivered.

Time magazine has a front page of Donald Jr with a caption "Caught red handed." Donald Jr did nothing actionable, The Dems use this to imply that the Russians wanted Donald the Sr as President. Why would they? Hillary has conveyed 20% of US uranium production to Russia and the Clinton Foundation was paid $100M. The Russians knew that the Clintons could be bought. They couldn't buy the Donald.

Mark my words – the wind is turning.  Donald and Melania Trump are leaders – persistent, consistent, from the heart.  Some expected this, many did not.  But underestimating these two would be a profound mistake.

The first clear turn signal was the Inauguration speech.  It was concise, incisive, blunt and uncompromising.  No more blah-blah and calculated pampering, national self-derision or happy talk for the sake of media approval.  No more pretending personal differences and si ncere opinions were bad, individual character and national sacrifice irrelevant, honor and history no longer material.  

To those who wished America would again be proud of who we are, the speech affirmed that long tunnels do end and light does exist, even after years of economic and moral malaise, even with security threats mounting and international respect declining.  The future is what we make it; it should be an extension of our proud past, not a departure from it.    

Then came the disciplined and bipartisan State of the Union speech.  Those clad in white on the Left, who dared not clap or stand, could barely believe their ears.  The president was compelling, honest, and inclusive.  He spoke to all Americans, not just supporters.  He validated them, offered answers, summoned higher angels.  The Left was confused.

Next came the Middle East Peace speech – direct and sincere a nd hopeful that leaders, Shia, Sunni, Jewish and Christian, might lay down swords for a moment, and imagine what might be possible.  Take a look at what those leaders said after that speech. Not in decades had such hope been entertained.  America’s pledge to lead is believed.  It should be.

Then came the Kennedy Center speech on July 1. Here, the president made a bold promise – to all Americans.  Faith – whatever your faith – will be respected.  "My administration will always … defend your religious liberty.”  He added, “We don't want to see God forced out of our public square," and “no one is going to stop you from practicing your faith or saying what's in your heart." 

Understand the importance.  Trump was resetting our national compass.  His words could have come from Episcopalian George Washington, Deist Thomas Jefferson, Dutch Reformed Theodore R oosevelt, Baptist Jimmy Carter, Presbyterian Ronald Reagan, or Roman Catholic John F. Kennedy. 

Then, the speech on Wednesday in Poland – a speech about what really matters, a signal as clear as Revere’s lantern from the Old North Church.  He spoke of Poland’s intergenerational commitment to freedom, holding democracy dear, living by faith and courage, preserving Western values.  And he spoke of America’s historic role in doing the same. 

The continuity and progression of this president’s unfolding worldview as revealed in these speeches shows one of hope, expectation, impatient for results, and insistent on accountability. 

How soon we forget – that leaders come from all walks, and that many are underestimated long before being appreciated. 

Ronald and Nancy Reagan were “just B movie actors” – remember?  He was no “intellectual,” w ould trigger “Armageddon,” and was hopelessly sold on “American exceptionalism.” Nancy was even worse – just a former starlet. 

The result of their leadership?  The most robust economy in decades, 18 million new jobs, a tax cut for all Americans, the end of the Soviet Union, and respect for America in the world. 

Today, we have a new president and First Lady, again underestimated.  He has vision, lives by hope, and is willing to risk all for it.  He has done and said more in six months than most presidents in an entire term. 

And Melania Trump, like Nancy Reagan, has been deliberately underestimated and diminished, her depth and talent unacknowledged.   Yes, she is a model.  Yes, she is a devoted mother. 

She was also born in Tito’s Soviet-dominated Yugoslavia, in Slovenia; secretly baptized, strived, survived and became an American citizen.  She speaks six languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Serbo-Croatian, and Slovene.  How many of her liberal detractors can speak even three?  Or know anything like the hardship of her youth?  How many have her patience and poise?

Which brings us back to that “new wind” blowing, and what it means.  The Trumps are a team, like the Reagans.  And what they bring America may have been best foretold by another underestimated leader, one who ended up saving Western civilization.  “Kites rise highest against the wind, not with it,” Winston Churchill said. May we all.   

Putin confirms Obama created ISIS.

The media continues to lie for the Democrats. President Trump just had an incredibly successful meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin — but the media is only concerned with conspiracy theories.

Back in 2015, when ISIS was at its height, Vladimir Putin explained how the largest terrorist group in history was created thanks to the Obama administration.

The Russian president claims that ISIS was able to bolster their ranks by hiring mercenaries originally armed and bought by the Obama administration to fight the Syrian government.

Additionally, the Democrats created a power vacuum in the area when they announced that American troops in Iraq were being pulled out. This vacuum helped created ISIS.

ISIS was able to grow unchecked, and hired mercenaries armed with American weapons. ISIS was then able to capture oil fields in the now-insecure Iraq in order to finance their terrorism.

Obama further helped ISIS by creating a market for their ill-gotten oil wealth. ISIS was selling oil to American allies with Obama’s tacit consent – he never attempted to cut off the terrorists’ revenue sources.

At their height in 2015, ISIS was netting over $81 million per month thanks the Obama administration. However, since the election of President Trump, ISIS revenue has dropped to $16 million per month. President Trump is beating ISIS back fast, and the terror group is rapidly ceding territory. It is the loss of territory that is impacting the bottom line of ISIS the most. What was once the richest terror organization under Obama has shrank to a nuisance the size of Belgium thanks to President Trump. Now, ISIS is barely holding onto two cities on and the terror group is on the verge of collapse.

The speed at which President Trump has dispatched ISIS reveals that either was completely ineffectual or he made no attempt to stop the spread of ISIS.

President Trump reveals the power of the American military when it is allowed to act. Moral leadership is righting the wrongs of the Obama administration while forming important partnerships abroad.

Sen Grahamnesty wants to punish Russia.

South Carolina politicians are not the brightest lot. They did start the Civil War, by not realizing that firing on Fort Sumter would provoke the Feds. And they rescued the floundering campaign of Sen (the Dunce) McCain  for the nomination to oppose Barak Hussein. Except he didn't do a good job and the Country suffered 8 years and the Middle East was thrown into civil wars and Barak Hussein would give birth (and guns) to ISIS.

Then South Carolina sent Sen Grahamnesty to the US Senate and true to the tradition of opting for the stupid the Senator wanted to amnesty 11 million illegals, two thirds of who would vote Democrat. The Senator's stupidity does not stop there, unfortunately. He, like Sen McCain want Pres Trump to NOT cooperating with the Russians in ending the civil war in Syria and in fact pile more sanctions on Russia. He even subscribes to the crazy notion that the Russians interfered in our election. Wanting to twist the bear's tail is a dangerous obsession.

Banding of the young storks.

The stork is a protected bird of Eastern Europe. There are artificial nesting poles erected in many villages and the storks return to their nest each March. Thus, the nests get heavy and need to be cleaned periodically. The young birds are docile and can be handled.
