President Donald Trump yesterday had served notice to pull the US out of the Paris Protocol. The Protocol was not ratified by Congress so that is why Trump was able to do that. Reaction to this action breaks along party lines for the most part. States with Dem Governors vow to abide by the Protocol.
So far this all hot air but in a while there will be real differences.
1. The US govt will be no longer try to stop the utilization of coal;
2. The US govt will no longer finance agencies designed to implement the Paris accord;
3. We will start procedures to disengage that will take 3 and a half years.
Liberals are aghast. Conrats to Trump for having the courage to trump this fraud.
