From New York to Hollywood the swampers are cheering this morning. Just how disastrous the Atty General pick of Sessions turned out to be is driven home by the Dems stealing his Senate seat.
The disaster began when Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation allowing the Swamp to appoint a Special Counsel (also of the Swamp) who would use unlimited government funds to stymie Trump's appointees and create prosecutions via process crimes. Mueller's henchmen come from the ranks of Hillary supporters, i.e. the Swamp.
Clearly, there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin, but the Drive-by-Media can pretend that there was and continue to produce fake news.
The balance of power has not changed much. The Republican Party remains a minority in the US Senate with 3 Senators Republican in name only. Doug Jones can now misrepresent the people of Alabama and continue thus for 6 years. Senator Shelby (Alabama's other US Senator) can be proud of the role he played in losing a Senate race.
Roy Moore was a weaker candidate than at first appeared. He was unable to rise above the swamp and its continued cacophony.
Clearly, the tactic of women coming forward and charging a politician with improper sexual behavior has worked in Alabama. Will it work elsewhere?
