Re - traditionalization of East and Central Europe.

Now that Communism is gone from East and Central Europe, traditional beliefs in Christianity is re-emerging in these regions as the dominant force in culture and politics.

Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Evangelical and Pentecostal churches lead the way.  The rebirth of the Orthodox church in Russia and the Ukraine are particularly striking where these beliefs are now dominant. This is resulting in the repudiation of homosexual marriage, abortion and Islam.

Elsewhere in Latin America, Pentecostalism is on the march. Pentecostals now comprise 25% of the world population.
