Congress voted to do an equivalent of the Mueller investigation. It is geared to stymie the Trump agenda. Money for the Wall? Nada. The invasion of the US will continue. Even Planned Parenthood, the trafficker of baby body parts, will get $500 Million. All for what? A measly $60 Billion more for the US Armed forces. Reagan was conned thus, he even agreed to a tax increase.
Pelosi and Schumer were doing verbal cart wheels after the deed, thinking they got away with making the Trump Presidency irrelevant. Extra ICE agents? No. Cutting funds for designated programs Trump wants to end? No. And so on.
Meanwhile, Congress snuck out of town, so it would not have to confront a potential veto.
The betrayal by the Congress and Congressional leaders is a trick to discourage Republicans in the Fall.
But wait! Trump says he won't do this again. And the budget law will end on Sep 30. Meanwhile, get ready for the takedown of the Deep State.
