OVERHEARD Thursday at a POLITICO photoshoot at Harvard: REP.-ELECT ALEXANDRIA OCASIO-CORTEZ (D-N.Y.) joking about running for president. PHOTOG: “What are you, twenty…?” AOC: “29. I just turned 29.” PHOTOG: “Happy birthday.” AOC: “Thank you! Thank you!” PHOTOG: “You can’t even run for president for another six years.”
AJ adds: The Framers of the Constitution were wise to exclude young snowflakes from the Presidency. At least for a while. Who knows she might learn something between now and then. If even the Chinese Communists have learned that Socialism leads to failure then....Pardon me for ocasio optimism. On the other hand, this young person has amassed a record for dimness even before she is "inaugurated."
