Europe's proposed pipe lines.

Zerohedge published an article on the competing pipelines to bring natural gas to Europe:

Mix gas with politics and you get a mess. There is the Russian proposed pipeline that was supposed to supply Europe through the South. The proposal is now dead. Then there is the proposed Israeli pipeline that goes through Greece and Italy. Will that be built?

Then there is the idiocy of President Macron who wants to replace a good portion of France's atomic power with wind and solar (both more expensive). Macron even wants to raise fuel taxes in France to pay to cover the extra cost of wind and solar. French truckers are rioting as a consequence.

Then there is the annoying fact that Germany and France want to dictate to the rest of Europe what their energy policy should be. Cheap power from atomics is what is keeping the French economy afloat.

Then there is the US eager to supply Europe with Liguid Natural Gas (LNG).

No wonder European economies are stagnating. Nobody worries about cost and efficiency.
