Charles M. Blow defends 'gotcha' journalism.

Charles M. Blow defends 'gotcha' journalism. In his arrogance, he assumes that the facts are as he wishes them to be. Liberals like him are especially vicious with Republican women and minorities. Hence the attacks on Palin and Carson. Sarah Palin was a sitting Governor when she became John (the Dunce) McCain's running mate. Liberals wanted to destroy her. They threw questions at her till she missed one so they could chortle: "I gotcha." They attacked her in many ways and spread the rhetoric that somehow Palin was stupid.

Mr Blow, in his eagerness to belittle the GOP candidates writes: "The more traditional portion of the Republican field is littered with candidates with strong résumés — I use the word strong here loosely, to mean the existence of governmental experience, not the quality of it — but relatively weak rhetorical skills." I guess Mr Blow regards the qualification that come from being a current or former Governor as not as meaningful as rhetorical skills. He ignores the rhetorical skills of Sen Cruz, who was a champion debater in his days at Yale. And he ignores he rhetorical skills of the other candidates.

Who is this Mr Blow and what are his qualifications that he may impugn the qualifications of current and former governors, senators and others? According to his bio, he graduated (magna cum laude) from Grambling State University (B.A.) with a major in mass communication. He served as a Graphic Artist at the Detroit News, Graphics Editor at the New York Times, Graphics Director at the NY Times, Art Director at the National Geographics and lately as a Columnist at the NY Times.  In other words, Mr Blow has no experience in political office and regards rhetorical skills as the highest kind of qualification.Wikipedia states Charles M. Blow came out in 2014 as bisexual. Figures.
