On the heel of N Korea firing missiles at Japan (as a practice to attack American bases), the US moved some THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) batteries to S Korea.
China retaliated by closing four LOTTE department stores, some K-POP programs and has scrapped tourist booking facilities.
S Korea will appeal to the WTO.
