After the wild card weekend, the playoffs get under way with the winners of the wild card weekend and the division winners. Consensus seems fairly well settled except for the KC-Steelers game. Pittsburg is picked as a one point favorite while KC gets odds of 1.5 points as the favorite. This reflects how close the two teams are. The game will be played outdoors and hopefully after an ice storm is over.
The rest of the games are more predictable. New England is a 15 point favorite over Houston and the Falcons are a 5 point favorite over Washington (AC). That leaves us the BG Cowboys game to speculate about. The Cowboys are a 4.5 point favorite over Green Bay.You might wonder about that in light of the GB rout of the NY Giants. Absent the numbing cold, Aaron Rogers will look much more ordinary than he did in Green Bay. Also, the Cowboys will try to hog the ball by running it. Dallas already beat GB and at GB, so the game will not be as even as the KC-Pittsburgh game. The prediction is that Atlanta, New England, the Cowboys and KC will be in he next round.
