Calexit: what are its chances?

The radicals in California want to secede and they do not want to obey our laws. What are their chance of succeeding?

Little. First, there are parts of the California Constitution that deny a secession. I have no doubt that they will have a vote on it.

Liberal Californians believe that we can not do without them. They think that we depend on California's vegetables, its movies and the products of Silicon Valley. But, they need to remember: these things are valuable only if they sell them to us: the rest of the United States. And if they leave, we won't buy. Replacement of the vegetables can be grown in Florida to Texas. The knowledge cities of Texas and Kansas will provide the needed software and Hollywood and its high priced entertainment is going the way of written newspapers.

Finally, a Calexit needs the permission of the majority of States. And they ain't getting it.
