Actually, it was two different games. There was the first half (which the Falcons won 21-3) and the second half in which the Pats closed the gap and then went ahead in overtime. Atlanta devised a scheme that featured the quickness of their defense to bottle up New England and use Julio Jones to throw some magnificent blocks (besides catching some crucial passes) to power Atlanta. They succeeded in stripping the ball once and intercepted a pass for a TD and it seemed that Atlanta could not be stopped.
The second half was a different ball game. The Pats defense stiffened, Julio Jones no longer could seal off the left side with his blocks and the Atlanta offense was stopped. That is when Brady took over. New England changed its blocking scheme so Brady got a bit more time and new England started scoring. The rest is history.
Incidentally, Trump predicted that the Pats would win although he picked 8 points. No doubt, the Media can make something out of that. Or not.
