Trump is not predictable: good or bad?

Obama was predictable. If you were a foreign power you could push and O would fold. He was anti-Israel and pro Muslim. Not Trump.

Trump is pro Israel and is not pro Muslim. Nor is he predictable. He is trying to recapture the reputation of Reagan, who was labeled by his Leftist adversaries as "trigger happy." Our adversaries did not feel safe to push us around when Reagan was President.

So, Trump is not predictable. This shows in another way: Our adversaries can not be sure of the way Trump is going to respond. He does not telegraph "rules of engagement"  that limit our military to less effective responses.

The net effect of Trump is positive. True, that the Democrats do not like it. The Democrats believe that because of our tainted past we do not deserve to be world leader. The Democrats believe that it is our military that is destabilizing the world and therefore we must restrict our military.

The changes are clear and welcome.
